tool

Plan 10" and 19" racks before anyone drills a hole: drag devices into the grid, keep an eye on rack units and collisions, let the load per power strip be added up. Runs entirely in the browser – none of it leaves this device.

Dragging devices needs room. The planner works on a narrow screen, but it only gets comfortable from tablet width upwards.

U

0/12 U in use · ≈ 53.3 cm high · 0 W

1 U = 4.45 cm · 12 U ≈ 53.3 cm of grid height · front 48.3 cm wide (19")

The height is the bare grid; frame, top panel and feet come on top of that in a finished cabinet. Drag a device from the palette into the grid. Placed devices can be moved, clicked to edit, and dragged out of the rack to remove them.

Click a placed device to change its name, height and wattage.

Power strips

None in the rack yet. Drag a “power strip” from the palette, then devices can be spread across it – either through the select field in the detail panel or by dragging them from the rack onto the card.

Outside the rack

For everything attached to the cabinet without sitting inside it: lighting, an access point on top, a power supply next to it. Counts towards the outlets and the total wattage.
